Free Energy Efficiency Upgrades for Rental Properties as Part of the SmartRegs Project

FREE ENERGY EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENTS! The City of Boulder is seeking owners of rental properties to receive free energy efficiency upgrades as part of the SmartRegs project. This exciting program will provide a limited number of case study properties with an energy analysis and energy efficiency retrofits to help the city measure the costs and benefits of the SmartRegs proposal to be delivered to City Council in early summer 2010.

At no cost to the property owner, buildings/units will be analyzed for energy efficiency and upgrades will be completed to meet proposed energy efficiency code requirements. A complete program application, including building criteria and program conditions, can be found at www.bouldercolorado.gov/pds/smartregs/application.

Applications, due by Friday, Jan. 15, can be submitted in three ways:
