Stephen is an associate at Populus where he focuses primarily on energy modeling and energy analysis for residential and small commercial projects. Stephen holds a Master of Science degree in Building Systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Colorado. He is also a RESNET Certified Home Energy Rater and a LEED Accredited Professional.
In addition to working with clients to design high-performance buildings, Stephen has experience performing ACCA Manual J and D calculations, applying local and national energy efficiency codes, and analyzing case studies and energy performance data for new construction and retrofits of existing homes.
Prior to attending the University of Colorado, Stephen worked at a small Chicago architecture firm designing houses and small commercial buildings.
